The project provided sophisticated mechanism of interaction between local authorities and citizens. This was accomplished via state-of-the-art knowledge management, document management technologies, databases, and communication tools such as newsgroups or direct connections. Citizens were therefore enabled to communicate and feedback to the local decision makers, politicians, and the administration.
