Preface
In the winter term of 2005/06 the Faculty of Business, Economics and Business Information Systems introduced the Bachelor's degree program, following the Bologna process. Because of this transition, the Diploma degree programs will be discontinued. In the Bologna process, standardized degrees and study plans have been introduced which are comparable within the EU.
The four offered Bachelor's degree programs Business Administration, Economics, International Economics, and Management Information Systems are quite similar in their structure, and lead to the degree Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.).
Since the winter term of 2008/09 new Master's degree programs in Business Administration, Economics, International Economics, Management Information Systems, and Real Estate Management have been available. These lead to the degree Master of Science (M.Sc.).
The Honors-Programs are designated elite programs to further advance the best students.
Furthermore, it is possible to study the subjects of our faculty as a minor in combination to other studies of our university. This aims on helping students of other subjects to gain interdisciplinary knowledge of Business and Economics.
